Our theme is restrictions of resources, to me this means that people have a limited amount of resources. The quotes relate to our theme because they all have something to do with an important resource. An example "Most of the Peacekeepers turn a blind eye to few of us ho hunt because they're as hungry for fresh meat as anybody is." This quote clearly states that only some people have access to fresh meat, and they have a limited amount to it.

The Hybrid I have created is called the Davicorn, it's the mix between a Unicorn and a David. The Davicorn looks human but has a horn in the middle of his forehead. The average Davicorn wears jeans, a sweater and sneakers to hide their hooves.

Davicorns live in pretty much everywhere, but the place with the biggest population would be on the outskirts of district 4 and 11. The Davicorns like to stay out of the cities so they usually stay as far away from the capitol as possible. They would only go to the capitol if they needed food or water, and couldn't find any.

Skittles are the main source of food for the Davicorns. They usually find them on the rainbow bushes found in forests. If some Davicorns live on the prairies they will eat wheat, Grass and small bugs found in the wheat fields. Davicorns can go days without eating, this is because they can feed off their happiness. Baby Davicorns need to stay with their parents for the first 5 years of life then they go off on their own to find a herd, or just goes solo all their life. No matter what they do Davicorns are generally happy creatures. Davicorns need to stay away from snow, this is crucial for their survival. The snow is too cold for the Davicorns their sweaters don't keep them warm enough for freezing conditions.

The Davicorn would be useful to the Hunger Games because they can cheer people up anytime they wish. They can also be very funny, and can be very annoying at times. One thing about the Davicorns is that they become evil during the night and their eyes turn red and their horns become a deadly weapon. During the night the tributes would have to be very careful. On the bright side if you kill a Davicorn their meet tastes like cake, but if you eat too much you could start getting powerful hallucinations. Another good thing is that their horn could be used as a weapon.

Gender Stereotypes are representations of men and woman that are not completely true. In the Hunger Games, Peeta is very feminine, and Katniss is very masculine. Also Rue seems defenseless in the games but then she stays alive for a very long time. The Hunger games shows a positive representation of gender equality between men and women. This is because both men and women are put in the hunger games.

My name is Auralee Vache I live with my 2 cats my dog and my twin brother on our ranch. There we breed and we also own a butchers shop in the market. I am 17 and 2 minuets older than my brother. I have blue vibrant blue with very long lashes and long dark brown hair with a slight wave, which comes about 3/4 of the way down my back. I'm around 5.8", and I have very very long legs. My core, arms and legs are very strong from working on the farm and hunting. My specialties are hunting with throwing knives, traps, and a bow n' arrow. My grandfather had made one for me before he died. I'm also very good with animals, as well as riding horses and cows. Some of my weaknesses are spiders, and I guess I'm not very good at making other friends.

My mother taught me to cook when I was 10, and my father taught me and my twin brother to run the farm and shop when we were 12. Growing up my uncle taught me how to hunt and survive in the wild, then he later when I was 13, the same year my parents died in a fire. What happened was there was a gas leak from our tractor and I guess my dad dropped his cigarette and the whole barn went up in flames with my parents inside as well as some of the horses. My brother and I have been alone since then. We have re built the barn and we have doubled the amount of horses that were in the barn before. My best memory was when I killed my first deer with my set of knives.

I really don't like the Capitol at all. I think it's cruel that they get to bathe in luxury, when we are stuck in district 10, starving and barely making a living. Oh and the hunger games, it's awful! How could someone watches kids and teens kill each other. I despise it, I'm also very scared of the Capitol and all the peace keepers. The cougar family aren't my Favorite people either, they own everything.

When surviving in the wilderness, the easiest part for me would be keeping myself company, and if the area was infested with walkers (zombies), I would be pretty safe with my handy dandy bow and arrow. The hardest part for me would be making the right decision on what to bring with me on my journey. I would also find that finding water would be challenging.
